Jetstart ended another incredible season at this year's San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival. As defending champions, the team knew the competition would be even stronger this year. Teaming up with our friends from Vancouver, Dragon Hearts Magnum, the ladies finished a strong 2nd in the Womens Championship while the men finished 1st in the Mens Championship, winning from the outside in Lane 6 with the fastest time of the entire festival. The Masters showed they are no slouches either by winning 1st in the Masters Championship alongside our Canadian friends from Alberta and BC. In another tight race, Jetstart also clinched 1st in the Visiting Team Championship narrowly beating the fierce Magnum team.

In the Mixed division, Jetstart had an unfortunate semifinal race which dropped the team into the A Consolation Final. Determined to come back even harder, Jetstart finished 1st in Competitive A Consolation Final pulling a time that was even faster than all the teams in the Competitive A Championship.

Kudos to Dragon Hearts Magnum - it was a pleasure racing with and against your amazing team. Congratulations on your success. You have a heart of gold in our eyes.
